Waste Farmers offers the next generation of resource management, bio-based renewable energy, sustainable agricultural production, greenhouse gas mitigation, and innovative recycling, composting, and waste reduction services. We reintegrate urban “waste” nutrients with agricultural and energy production in an effort to maximize the value of the items we collect and cultivate the communities we serve.

The company was founded with $9,000, a pickup truck, and an overwhelming belief that idealism and capitalism can coexist – that it is possible to develop a company that builds profit while enriching the community.

Each blue (recycling) and green (compost) “dumpster” that Waste Farmers sets out ensures that the resources inside will not be lost and provides the captive supply necessary to economically enrich the community by rebuilding soils, generating renewable energy, ensuring a sustainable food supply, reintroducing the feedstock and life-force of industry, and repairing some of the unintended consequences of progress.
